ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Fraternal Order of Police is criticizing a candidate in the race for Attorney General. The police organization is upset about an ad linked to Republican Will Scharf’s campaign.

They claim the commercial politicizes the 2023 murder of Hermann Police Department Detective Sergeant Mason Griffith. The organization believes the ad jeopardizes Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s pending prosecution.

They are demanding the ad be taken down and an apology issued. So far, there has been no response from Sharf’s campaign.
