ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Peters, Missouri, man appeared in St. Charles County Circuit Court on Wednesday for a bond reduction hearing after being charged with child porn possession.

According to the St. Peters Police Department’s probable cause statement, authorities executed a search warrant at the home of Dylon E. Jackson (age not provided) on Nov. 9, 2023.

Digital forensic examiners searched Jackson’s electronic devices and discovered 93 images and eight videos containing child pornography.

Police said Jackson was posing as an underage girl to send and receive the illicit material.

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Jackson with possession of child pornography – first offense and four counts of possession of child pornography – second or subsequent offense.

As part of Wednesday’s bond reduction hearing, Jackson’s $100,000 cash-only bond was altered to allow a 10% payment. If Jackson is able to post bond, the judge’s order includes a “no internet” provision and says he cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 18.

Jackson is due in court on August 8 for his arraignment.
