Man found shot dead in fast food lot in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – A fast food restaurant parking lot turns into a crime scene overnight in north St. Louis after a man is found shot and killed inside a car Wednesday morning.

This all happened on the 2000 block of Hebert in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood, just off North Florissant Avenue.

Authorities say that officers responded to that scene for a shooting around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found an adult male shot inside a car in a White Castle parking lot.

Authorities say the man had been shot in his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is reported that the shooting appeared to have happened inside the vehicle.

At this point, police are only saying that the man who was shot and killed was an adult male.

There are no suspects in the murder. At this point, it’s unclear what may have led to the violence.
