Top Hamas leader killed as tensions boil between Israel and Iran

The Hamas leader widely considered the “architect” of the Oct. 7 attacks has been killed in a suspected Israeli drone strike in southern Beirut where he had been exiled under the protection of Iranian-backed Hezbollah militants.
