Man dies two days after shooting near St. Louis industrial neighborhood

ST. LOUIS – A man shot Wednesday near a St. Louis industrial neighborhood died Friday while hospitalized.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported the death on Saturday.

Police say a 24-year-old man was shot near Kingshighway and Bircher Boulevard around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. The shooting happened near St. Louis’ Mark Twain/I-70 Industrial neighborhood.


Manchester Police Chief placed on administrative leave amid investigation

Details around the shooting are limited, though police say the victim was dropped off at a local hospital before officers responded to the scene.

Police have not yet disclosed the victim’s identity, nor reported of any potential arrests or suspect information.
