ST. LOUIS – It’s another day to watch the radar, as some pop storms will be around again throughout Friday. The best chances of a storm will be along and south of I-70.
A lot of the area will stay dry. Otherwise, it will be hot and muggy, with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Highs are right around 90 on Friday.
It is an orange air quality day in metro St. Louis on Friday due to ozone in the atmosphere. Sensitive groups should avoid too much strenuous work outside.
Scattered storms again Saturday, especially in the morning. Highs in the low 90s. Again, there will be lots of dry time.
Even hotter Sunday, mid 90s for highs, with some morning storms possible.
Dangerous heat early next week. Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid- to upper 90s. Heat index values will be in the 100–105 range.
Storms late Tuesday into Wednesday will bring us a bit of heat relief.
