Truck stranded, fields damaged as flooding hits south St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – As remnants of Hurricane Beryl make way through the region, flooding has developed in some parts of south St. Louis County.

Flooding is present near the intersection of Meramec Bottom Road and Hawkins-Fuchs Road, not too far away from the Meramec River.


Police searching for escaped prisoner in Warren County

SkyFOX, powered by Bommarito Automotive Group, flew over the area and noticed various spots of high water levels. There’s at least one pick-up truck stranded in the water. It appears some soccer and baseball fields may have been flooded in the area as well.

Much of the St. Louis metro is under a flood watch with several inches of rain possible through Wednesday afternoon.
