Shooting at Horseshoe Casino parking lot downtown leaves 1 injured

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police are investigating an overnight shooting downtown outside the Horseshoe Casino.

According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m. at the casino parking lot.

Officers arrived to find a 42-year-old man on the ground next to his vehicle. He’d been shot multiple times.

Due to the severity of his injuries, the victim was unable to provide the police with any information on the shooting. He was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

According to investigators, a man driving a white vehicle shot the victim. The investigation is still ongoing.
