Police: Teens escaped Juvenile Detention Center on July 4

ST. LOUIS – Police are searching for two teenagers who escaped the St. Louis Juvenile Detention Center on July 4.

According to Sgt. Charles Wall, a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers took a report around 2 p.m. Thursday that two boys, ages 16 and 15, had absconded from the detention center, located in the St. Louis City Family Court building.

No additional information has been released.
