Medical debt would no longer factor into final credit scores in new White House proposal

The Biden administration has unveiled a plan to prevent medical debt from bringing down credit scores. If enacted, the policy would impact millions of people in the U.S., where one in 12 people are estimated to have outstanding medical debt.
