What to know about FAA’s oversight of Boeing amid safety concerns

The head of the Federal Aviation Administration said Thursday the agency is holding Boeing accountable to address safety issues. FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker said Boeing developed a new safety proposal in the wake of a door plug blowing out of an Alaska Airlines flight in January.
