EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – Two children where shot while inside a home Thursday evening in East St. Louis.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Central Avenue.
Both children are hospitalized, though their injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Illinois State Police and the East St. Louis Police Department are investigating the shooting. It’s unclear what led up to it. Authorities have not yet identified any potential suspects.
