ST. LOUIS – Sunday proved to be a perfect day for a parade, as Downtown St. Louis was full of excitement for the 114th annual Annie Malone May Day Parade.

The Annie Malone May Day Parade is one of the oldest and largest parades in the St. Louis area. It is a tradition for big crowds to gather in downtown to watch the bands, floats, and dignitaries in the parade.

The Gateway City Corvette Association partners with FOX 2 every year, and many of our on-air personalities love to ride in cars and greet the crowd.

The 2024 parade’s theme was about connecting physical health to mental health and wellness. It remains the largest fundraiser for the Annie Malone organization, which is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families through social services, educational programs, and advocacy.

The parade has grown to more than 3,500 participants and 30,000 spectators since it began in 1910.
