ST. LOUIS – Two St. Louis men were indicted in federal court last week in a plot to kill an 18-year-old in 2021.

Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Anthony Stewart, 25, and Patrick Robinson, 23, gunned down Dwayne Wysinger Jr. on Aug. 14, 2021, as Wysinger sat inside his vehicle in the Peabody-Darst-Webbe neighborhood.

Charges filed in case of intruder shot by homeowner

Prosecutors claim Stewart and Robinson heard there was a bounty on Wysinger’s head. They located Wysinger’s vehicle in the 1400 block of Lasalle Lane. Stewart and Robinson waited for Wysinger to show up and get into his car before opening fire.

Stewart and Robinson were each charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire.
