Rain and some storms continue through Tuesday

ST. LOUIS — Rain is moving back in after the nice Mother’s Day weekend. Monday will see rain showers move in from the south through the morning. Showers with some rumbles of thunder are expected through the afternoon, highs in the low 70s. Showers and non-severe thunderstorms continue this evening and overnight.

Wake up temperatures Tuesday will be in the low 60s. We may see a short lull in the rain Tuesday morning, before showers and thundershowers pick back up later in the day. Highs in the low to mid 70s. Over the next two days, the regions is expected to see more than one inch of rainfall.

A break from the rain is expected Wednesday. Partly cloudy and highs in the mid 70s. Then rain and storms chances return for Thursday, Thursday night, and Friday.  Early outlook calls for a dry start to next weekend.
