Fatal motorcycle crash in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. — One person has died following a motorcycle crash in Lincoln County, Missouri, on May 3 at 11 a.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 61 and Route K.

Brian F. Forshee, 52, died after changing lanes and failing to slow down for a 1997 Peterbilt 378. Forshee was riding a 2022 Harley Davidson Street Glide when he collided with the semi-truck as it slowed down to turn.

Both vehicles were traveling southbound. When Forshee’s motorcycle struck the semi-truck, he was ejected from the bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of EMS.
