According to court documents obtained by FOX 2, witnesses heard Leutzinger make a statement that it was “a good day to slice someone” while he was holding a knife. Moments later, one man was stabbed, and he suffered serious injuries.

Other people at the home reportedly ran away and hid from Leutzinger.

As police responded to the scene, they found a knife suspected in the stabbing inside the building. Leutzinger was arrested a short time later, and investigators learned he was known to the victim.

The St. Louis County Police Department is handling the investigation. Leutzinger is jailed in St. Louis County on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
