ST. LOUIS – This summer, girls ages 5–13 are invited to join a summer program with Girls Incorporated of St. Louis.

The organization has been working for 42 years to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold throughout various activities, according to Cheryl Jones, Girls Inc. president and CEO. The summer program offers tools to help girls learn and grow in the classroom.

“They get to do the arts, they get to do STEM, math, basketball, you name it,” Jones said. “Young people, for almost 10 hours, are together and they’re doing a lot of academics, but they’re also having fun and they are making relationships that are lasting.”

A new program is on the way, aimed at getting young women into an entrepreneurial setting and possibly even starting their own business.

The program runs for eight weeks throughout the summer, lasting from June 3 to July 26. For more information, click here.
