UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. — A shooting in the Delmar Loop leaves one person dead and two others injured. The incident was first reported just after 2 a.m.
One deceased person was found next to a car, near another vehicle with a shattered window. A portion of Delmar was blocked off while police conducted their investigation.
The dead person at the scene was a man. Two women who were injured were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Homicide detectives were called in to take over the investigation. The police have not said anything about any suspects in the case. More updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
