Heating things up for the weekend and beyond

ST. LOUIS — Sunny and breezy Friday, highs will be in the upper 60s. Winds will gust 25-30mph through the day.  Winds will ease tonight, with overnight temps falling to the upper 40s.

We have a very warm weekend on tap. Mostly sunny Saturday with highs around 80. Sunday’s highs will push into the mid 80s. We’ve already hit 80 seven times this year, our warmest day was 86 on February 27. Remember, the month of February was our second warmest on record.

Monday may be our warmest day of the year yet, forecasted highs are around 87. The average date for St. Louis to have its first 90 day is May 15.

Rain and storm chances return Monday night. Tuesday looks wet and stormy and also quite windy. Despite the rain, Tuesday’s highs are expected to still be near 80.
