Lingering showers and gusty winds Thursday; weekend warm up ahead

ST. LOUIS — After a wet night, the steady rain will pull away to the east Thursday morning. However, scattered showers will linger through the day. It will be a windy day as well, gusts up to 40 mph. Highs in the low 60s. Skies will clear out overnight. Breezy with overnight temperatures falling to the mid 40s.

Sunshine returns Friday but it will still be breezy, highs in the mid 60s.  Expect a big warm up for the weekend. Sunny and breezy, highs both Saturday and Sunday will pop into the 80s. Rain and storm chances return Monday night.
