ST. LOUIS — We ended up with wonderful viewing conditions for the eclipse on Monday, but clouds did start to thicken Monday evening. Tuesday is off to a mild start. We’ll see some spot showers through the day.

The best chance for wet weather will be closer to a front draped south of metro St. Louis. However, an isolated shower can’t be ruled out anywhere. Highs will be in the low 70s. Partly to mostly cloudy overnight, again a slight chance of rain showers.

Wake up temperatures Wednesday should be in the 50s. The chance for scattered showers and storms will ramp up Wednesday morning before wet weather becomes more widespread Wednesday afternoon and night as an area of low pressure lifts north out of Texas.  Highs in the upper 60s.

Rain chances linger Thursday morning before we dry out and clear out for Friday. Breezy Thursday with highs in the mid 60s. We’ll stay with highs in the 60s Friday before temps pop to near 80 again Saturday.
