ST. LOUIS – Thousands of people across Missouri and Illinois stood outside Monday afternoon to observe the solar eclipse.
Some saw complete totality in the southern part of the state, and others outside the path of totality still saw nearly 100% of the sun covered by the moon.
Many sent in photos of friends, families, and coworkers observing the eclipse.
