ST. LOUIS – The final defendant in a St. Louis-area methamphetamine distribution ring appeared in federal court on Tuesday and was sentenced to nearly 20 years for his role in the organization.

Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said Dedrick D. Jordan, 35, was one of 15 defendants who pleaded guilty in the case.

Jordan was one of four people—along with along with Terry J. Williams, 37, Clifford D. David Jr., 43, and Maria D. Flores-Cervantes, 36—connected to a Los Angeles-area supplier.

Jordan and Joseph R. Holliman, 49, were responsible for arranging the shipments from Los Angeles to St. Louis through the mail or via couriers.

Another co-defendant, Brendon D. Thomas, 47, occasionally supplied meth to street-level dealers.

Prosecutors said Jordan, Thomas, and Holliman each had homes used to receive and hide drugs and their cash profits.

The Jefferson County Municipal Enforcement Group joined the Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security Investigations, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service as part of a 2019 joint investigation to break up the meth ring.

More than 15 kilograms of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $793,000, were seized in total.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service intercepted 1.3 kilograms of nearly pure meth and 8.9 kilograms of marijuana in 2020. In April 2020, Phelps County deputies stopped Davis and Flores-Cervantes and discovered nearly 12 kilograms of meth and 47.8 grams of heroin in a hidden compartment in the vehicle.

That June, investigators received warrants to search the homes of Jordan, Thomas, and Holliman. Authorities found $129,776 in cash, 190 grams of meth, and a digital scale in Jordan’s house. Investigators seized three firearms, clear plastic bags containing marijuana, a money counter, and $17,520 in cash at Thomas’ residence. At Holliman’s home, law enforcement discovered vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana, electronic scales, ammunitions, three firearms, and 4.3 grams of meth.

Thomas was sentenced to 210 months in prison, Holliman to 84 months, Williams to 120 months, and Davis to 45 months.
