PINE LAWN, Mo. — Police are searching for a man who is wanted for a carjacking. The man ran from officers after crashing a car during a police chase. A woman and two juveniles are in police custody after being found in the stolen vehicle.
St. Louis County police officers spotted a stolen vehicle, a white Honda, which was taken in an armed carjacking in St. Louis City the previous night. The officers attempted to stop the vehicle at Halls Ferry Road and Leamont Drive, but the driver refused to pull over, leading to a police chase. The chase ended when the vehicle crashed into a curb near Ravenwood Avenue and Kenewah Avenue.
Three suspects, including one juvenile male, one juvenile female, and one woman are in police custody. The police are still pursuing a man who ran from the scene.
