Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Friday to discuss the latest in a potential cease-fire with Hamas. Meanwhile, a U.S.-sponsored resolution at the United Nations Security Council calling for an “immediate and sustained cease-fire” was vetoed by Russia and China.
