ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has issued charges against a man after fleeing from police twice and resisting arrest, according to officials.
Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the St. Louis County Police spotted Douglas Buffer, 43, who had several arrest warrants for felony cases. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but Buffer fled at high speeds, refusing to stop.
Buffer eventually crashed into a fence and proceeded to flee on foot. Officers tried to locate him but were unsuccessful. The search then ended.

Two and a half hours later, sightings of Buffer exiting the woods were reported to police. When officers arrived back at the area, they spotted him. When Buffer saw police, he fled again, on foot.
Following a foot pursuit, Buffer was apprehended. A release from police states that Buffer continued to flee the scene after being tased and pepper sprayed. He also continued to resist arrest when being taken into custody.
Buffer is charged with two counts of resisting arrest for a felony. He is currently being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
