ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police have identified the victim of this past weekend’s fatal hit-and-run crash in the Soulard neighborhood.
According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident took place around 1:35 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Gravois Avenue and Russell Boulevard.
Cynthia Curtis was walking eastbound on Gravois when she was struck by a car traveling in the same direction, police said.
Curtis was rushed to the hospital but later died from her injuries. She was 43.
