Missouri Sewer District holds public meeting over two proposals

FLORISSANT, Mo. – The Missouri Sewer District is hosting a public meeting Wednesday to discuss two proposals on the April 2 ballot.

The meeting is from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Louis County Library’s Florissant Valley Branch. MSD will have two different propositions on the ballot.

Proposition W asks voters to approve $750 million in bonds to pay for massive improvements on the region’s waste water system.

Proposition S would create the St. Louis region’s first regional stormwater improvement program to address issues like flooding and erosion. If approved, Prop S would cost St. Louis homeowners around $25 a year.

There will be another meeting Thursday at Cliff Cave Branch Library from 6-7 p.m. There be four more meetings next week as well, some virtual.
