ST. LOUIS – MoDOT is hosting a public meeting Tuesday on proposed safety improvements on U.S. Highway 67.
It’s the area around West Alton, from the Missouri River to the Mississippi River. MoDOT has been working on plans to raise part of the highway for years.
Crews often have to close the highway because of heavy flooding on the Mississippi River. Tuesday’s open house is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Audubon Center at Riverlands in West Alton.
