ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Berkeley man is accused of pulling out a gun at a seafood restaurant in Olivette during an argument with a manager.

According to the Olivette Police Department’s probable cause statement, the incident took place on Dec. 30, 2023, at Kickin’ Crab, located in the 9600 block of Olive Boulevard.

Police claimed an argument started between Deangelo Washington (age not provided) and the restaurant manager. Washington took out a pistol and racked it. The manager, who was armed, pulled out a loaded Taurus G2 firearm in defense.

Customers in the restaurant began to panic and Washington ran out of the business. The manager then left the restaurant as a safety precaution.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Washington with first-degree terrorist threat and unlawful use of a weapon. A warrant for Washington’s arrest was requested on February 22.

Anyone with information on Washington’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Olivette Police Department or the local law enforcement agency.
