ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis man will spend the rest of his life in state prison after reaching a plea agreement in a pair of 2022 murder cases.

Graylon Lindsey, 24, had been scheduled to go to trial this week for a murder in the Fairground neighborhood and another in Carondelet.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office initially charged Lindsey with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action. However, prosecutors amended the charges to second-degree murder and dropped the armed criminal action charges in exchange for Lindsey’s plea.

A St. Louis Circuit Court judge immediately sentenced Lindsey to two concurrent life terms in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Lindsey admitted in court to killing Arriell Dixon and Kyrierah Jeffries.

Dixon was shot on the morning of May 5, 2022, in the 4200 block of Obear Avenue. She called 911 after being shot and provided dispatchers with a description of Lindsey and the car he was driving. Dixon died at the scene with gunshot wounds to her neck and arm. She was 25.

Jeffries was killed on the afternoon of May 14, 2022, in the 5900 block of Minnesota Avenue. Police found the teen outside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Jeffries was 16.

Investigators later linked a Nissan spotted near Dixon’s murder to Lindsey.
