Sierra Nevada braces for “potentially life-threatening” blizzard with up to 12 feet of snow

A powerful storm could bring up to 12 feet of snow this weekend to the mountains in Northern California and Nevada. Several ski resorts are closed under avalanche warnings. The National Weather Service called the blizzard “potentially life-threatening.” Carter Evans reports.
