ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Public Schools is hosting a 2-day career fair starting Friday.
A wide range of positions are available, including teachers, custodians, security officers, social workers, and more. Superintendent Dr. . Keisha Scarlett spoke with FOX 2 about the kind of people they’re looking for.
“Well, we want candidates that love children, that love working in schools and working with families and communities as well,” Scarlett explained. “People who we can help support skill building but we want people who have just tremendous capacity to be able to learn and collaborate.”
Non-teachers can apply for positions from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the school district headquarters on North 11th Street. Saturday’s job fair is for teachers.
