ST. LOUIS –Teams of students from Saint Louis University’s School of Science and Engineering are building a mini golf course using $200 worth of non-perishable food items. Students took part in an innovation challenge and set up the course inside the ballroom at the Busch Student Center.

“This is also a competition. So, of the 13 student organizations participating, they’re all competing for the best mini golf hole, and the winning organization will receive one-thousand dollars of funding that will go to their organization and the stuff that they do,” said Amy Preis.

For the price of a donation, other SLU students were invited to play the course and vote for their favorite hole. All of the food used for this course will be donated to Billiken Bounty, the on-campus food pantry for students.
