LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — HGTV is premiering a new TV show all about the Lake of the Ozarks called Lakefront Empire.
The show will showcase the luxurious waterfront homes along Lake of the Ozarks equipped with added features like mega custom pools and hot tubs, extravagant decked-out docks valued at up to $450K with boat slips, wet bars, and double-decker water slides, according to a press release from HGTV.
The release says the Lake area is known as the “Hamptons of the Midwest” due to its lavish million-dollar luxury homes, but the area also has more modest homes.
Real estate agents like Peggy Albers, a former convicted felon, long-time locals including brothers Jonas and Justin Farrell and Cierra Grein, and lake newcomers Gerardo Cornejo and Amanda Smith are set to appear in the first season, along with others.
The new series premieres on Monday, March 11 at 9 p.m. CT on HGTV and is available for streaming at that time on Max.
