ST. LOUIS – There are more than 41 million black people in America, and many of us have little knowledge of our ancestry dating back to before slavery.

On Thursday, the Missouri History Museum is hosting a program to give some insight on how people of color can look up their ancestry, put together a family tree, and learn more about who they are.
