ST. LOUIS – In just over a month, Battlehawks fans will fill the Dome once again for the team’s Week 2 United Football League debut game.

Last year, in the XFL, the Battlehawks boasted the highest attendance, and by a wide margin too. The team averaged about 35,000 fans per game, about 20,000 more than the next team in line.

“This is a love story about football,” Brandon Williams, Battlehawks vice president of team business and event operations, said. “It doesn’t matter if it’s high school, college, NFL, XFL or now the UFL; this city loves the game of football, and they are willing to spend their money and come out and see some exciting football.”

Battlehawks single-game tickets go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. Fans can use the promo code “KICKOFF” to buy tickets before that sale time, with single-game tickets starting at $18.

“Remember, we have five home games,” Williams said. “That’s only five opportunities to experience what it’s like to basically have what we described as a ‘frat party with a football game.’”

Last week, the Battlehawks opened 400-level seating to accommodate fan demand.

“We’ve opened up all of the upper levels,” Williams said. “That was a huge demand and a big ask for our fans last year so we’ve opened that up early.”
