ST. LOUIS – Ballpark Village hosted a special event Saturday afternoon to help fight a debilitating disease.
Hundreds gathered for the 12th annual Cupid’s Undie Run event on Saturday, sprinting around the city in various costumes.
The money raised at the event goes to the Children’s Tumor Foundation and their fight against neurofibromatosis. NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow along the nervous system, affecting one in 3,000 children.
Nearly $80,000 raised Saturday will go to funding drug trials to reduce the risk of contracting the disease.
