WARRENTON, Mo. — A crash on westbound I-70 near Warrenton is backing up traffic for miles. Snowy conditions are causing major disruptions of St. Louis area streets and interstates. Semi trucks can be seen parked along I-70.
A semi truck jackknifed on the interstate appears to be causing the delays. Vehicles appear to have slipped into the median near the crash. Traffic appears to be at a crawl on the highway.
The National Weather Service advises that driving in this weather is “strongly discouraged.” The snow is falling at a rate that will continue to cover roadways.
