ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A man from St. Louis County was found guilty on charges of neglect by exposing his children to drugs.

Ryan Johnston, 57, was convicted on February 15 by the St. Louis County Circuit Court. The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney presented evidence that Johnston endangered the welfare of his six children by exposing them to methamphetamine and/or cocaine in St. Ann in 2022. The St. Ann Police Department investigated the incident.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell spoke on the matter, “Methamphetamine is a potentially lethal drug, and exposing children to it is unforgivable. I thank this jury for holding this defendant accountable.”

Sentencing is scheduled for February 21.
