ST. LOUIS – A teenager is recovering at the hospital after being shot late Sunday afternoon in north St. Louis City.
According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened just after 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of North 10th Street and New Haven Court in the Columbus Square neighborhood.
The victim, a 16-year-old male, told police he was walking when he heard gunshots at the intersection and then immediately felt pain in his leg.
