St. Louis County, Mo. — The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in the 9800 block of Green Valley Drive. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.
Around 3:30 p.m., police responded to a scene of an accident and found a woman near a motor vehicle. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries.
Initial investigations found that a vehicle was traveling southbound in the 9800 block of Green Valley Drive when the victim crossed the roadway and fell in front of the vehicle, resulting in a collision. The driver of the vehicle is working with police and remained at the scene.
