Francis Howell school board considering elective courses tonight

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The Francis Howell school board meets Thursday night to consider what elective courses to offer their students.

In December, the board voted to remove black history and black literature courses at the district’s high schools. After protests from parents, the board reversed that decision one week later.

Thursday night, the board will get a first look at 17 possible courses to offer in the 2024–25 school year.
