ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is partnering with the St. Louis Public Library to give out free tickets to concerts. All locations are now offering free concert vouchers for select SLSO performances.

The goal is to enhance access to the concerts and encourage a greater appreciation for orchestral music. These vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis at any of the 16 branches. They grant up to two tickets per voucher for first-time attendees of SLSO concerts, with a limit of one voucher per library patron.

This program comes at a time when the orchestra is hosting its concerts across the St. Louis region due to the renovation of Powell Hall, with primary venues including the Touhill Performing Arts Center and the Stifel Theatre.

This is similar to a relationship the orchestra announced with the St. Louis County Library in January. All county branches will also provide vouchers for free concerts to library card holders.
