ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. – One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle overnight Monday in Leadington.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 48-year-old woman was on Highway 32 near Flat River Road just before 2 a.m. when a 19-year-old man hit her.
The woman was pronounced dead around two hours later.
MSHP no longer publicly names those involved in crashes or drownings within their preliminary reports due to recent scams misusing the information.
