ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Metropolitan District 4 officers say a man was shot after a disturbance at a home in the 2900 block of Thomas around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4.

Officers say they responded to a shooting and found a Jeep with bullet holes on the passenger side. Officers learned that the Jeep belonged to a 36-year-old man who was taken to an area hospital after being shot.

The victim told officers he did not see who shot him and wasn’t able to provide further information due to his injuries. He is listed in critical/stable condition.

A 33-year-old woman then told officers she had called the 36-year-old man to her home on Thomas after a group of armed juveniles were beating at her front door. They also broke windows.

The woman told officers she heard several gunshots outside and saw that the 36-year-old man had been shot.

The woman and a relative took the man to the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Central Patrol Division at 314-444-2500 for a District 4 detective. Anyone who wants to remain anonymous and is interested in a possible reward can call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
