Israel, Hezbollah trade strikes following pager explosions

Israel and Hezbollah traded strikes Thursday after an apparent Israeli operation detonated pagers and other communication devices in Lebanon and Syria, killing several and injuring thousands earlier in the week. Israel, Hezbollah exchange strikes as tensions rise

Hezbollah’s leader admitted Thursday that the synchronized pager and walkie-talkie attacks delivered a “severe blow” to the militant group. Israel also said that it struck around 30 rocket launchers belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Imtiaz Tyab reports.

Harris, Oprah to campaign in Detroit
