Hurricane Ernesto lashes Bermuda

Hurricane Ernesto made landfall in Bermuda early Saturday, knocking out power to about 70% of the North Atlantic island, and the National Hurricane Center reported that Ernesto could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions were likely along the East Coast of the U.S. over the next few days.
