Why cassette tapes are making a comeback

While vinyl controlled the largest share of the physical music market last year, cassette tapes are surging in popularity. The medium saw an increase in sales from 2015 to 2023 of more than 400%. Marc Masters, author of “High Bias: The Distorted History of the Cassette Tape,” joined CBS News to discuss the comeback.

Michigan county initially refuses to certify local election

The challengers who won a local recall election in Michigan were supposed to be sworn in last week, but the Delta County Board of Canvassers at first failed to certify the election results when a GOP canvasser said she would not certify, based on her concerns about how the election had been run.
